If you prefer the look and feel of a traditional telephone, no problem!
Almost any telephone can make calls using IdeaSIP, from the classic, corded models, to the newer multi-handset cordless ones; all you need is an ATA (Analog Telephone Adapter). You can also buy a SIP phone, which looks like a regular telephone, but uses the Internet instead of telephone lines.
This page is not meant to be a definitive list of all the hardware phones and adapters that work with IdeaSIP. The models mentioned here are ones that have been thoroughly tested and are used every day to connect IdeaSIP users to each other. If you have suggestions for additional models that you've tested and used with success, don't hesitate to post the information to our forum, and we'll be happy to include it here.
